Conservative Dating Pennsylvania: Faith, Family and Football
Eight in ten members are 25 to 44, and women outnumber men three to one.
Mostly women, and mostly 25 to 44
Pennsylvania has the highest share of members aged 25 to 44 of any state we cover. Eight in ten are between 25 and 44, and there are about three women for every man. Just over half of our Pennsylvania members are 35 to 44. For a conservative man in the state, that is a promising combination.
Pennsylvania is a swing state, and much of it outside Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and their suburbs is deeply conservative. Several of our Pennsylvania women live in Philadelphia.
Two cities and a lot of country in between
Philadelphia and the collar counties. Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties have long Catholic and Protestant traditions and many conservative families, even though most of the area votes the other way.
Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. Steel towns, the Mon Valley, Butler and Washington counties: union families who have moved right, deer camp in the fall and Steelers on Sunday.
Central Pennsylvania. Lancaster County's farmland, Harrisburg, State College, Altoona and the Susquehanna Valley. Church, county fairs and hunting season set the calendar here.

Pennsylvania first dates
- Gettysburg. The battlefield, the visitor center and a walk through town make a thoughtful day for anyone who loves American history.
- Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, followed by a cheesesteak.
- Lancaster County. Farm stands, Amish country back roads and a market lunch.
- A county fair in late summer, from livestock shows to the demolition derby.
- A Steelers or Eagles tailgate. Just make sure you are rooting for the same team.

Faith runs deep in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has some of the oldest church communities in the country. If you are Catholic, Lutheran, Mennonite, Methodist or evangelical, say so on your profile so the right people can find you. Our Christian conservative dating page and the blog post on spotting shared values early are worth a read.
The Pennsylvania calendar
Life in much of Pennsylvania runs to a calendar of its own: trout season in the spring, county fairs in summer, the Farm Show in Harrisburg each January, Penn State football in the fall, and rifle deer season after Thanksgiving, when whole towns empty into the woods. If hunting is part of your life, put it on your profile. Hunting runs in plenty of Pennsylvania families.
If you live in or near Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland are close by too. Near Pittsburgh, you can look across the line into Ohio too. In a state this long, it pays to look beyond your own town.
