Dallas and Fort Worth
Our largest Texas group of women lives around Dallas. Suburbs such as Frisco, McKinney, Plano and Denton are full of young families, churches and Friday night football, and Fort Worth's Stockyards are made for a first date.
The Lone Star State
Our biggest state, and one where women outnumber men about two to one.

It's also a young crowd. Almost eight in ten Texas members are between 25 and 44.

Around the state
Texas is big enough that where you live shapes how you date.

Houston has members of both sexes, and suburbs such as Katy and The Woodlands lean conservative. Galveston and the coast are an easy day out together.
Military families around San Antonio, ranch country to the west, and small towns everywhere in between. Distances are long, so look beyond your own town.
More ideas are in first date ideas for conservatives, and country dating covers small-town dating.
Church is still at the center of social life in much of Texas. If faith is central for you, say so early; in Texas it is more likely to start a conversation than end one. Our Christian conservative dating page has more.
Dallas to Houston is about a four-hour drive, and El Paso is closer to Los Angeles than to Beaumont. In Dallas or Houston, start with your own metro area and the towns around it. In West Texas, the Panhandle or the Valley, look further afield and plan to meet halfway, at a Buc-ee's if you must.
